Fr. Martinianus Chidi Chileke whose death occurred on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Fr. Martinianus Chileke, who was born on April 15, 1972, died at the age of 54. He was ordained a priest on August 7, 1999. He worked with dedication and commitment in various parishes within the Diocese, as well as serving as a missionary in Grenada and in the Diocese of San Bernardino, United States of America. His priestly ministry was truly remarkable, and he was known for his selfless and compassionate approach to addressing the needs of the people. Until his death, he was resident at St. Patrick's Catholic Parish, Ekwerazu, Ahiazu Mbaise. Funeral Arrangements Condolence Visit to the Family of Fr. Sister Catherine was born on 28th November, 1954 into the family of Mr. John Anyanwu Teteh and Mrs. Cecilia E. Teteh (both of Blessed Memory) of Nnarambia Ahiara in Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State. She made her First Profession of Vows on 10th September, 1988 and Final Profession on 9th December, 1996. She celebrated her Silver Jubilee in 2013. Sister Catherine served in the medical apostolate as a Nurse and Midwife. She returned to her Maker on 22nd May, 2026 after a brief illness. With deep sorrow but gratitude to God for a fulfilled and impactful life, the family of Priest John Nkasiobi Chukwueze of Umuechima, Okoko Item in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, announces the passing of their beloved wife, mother, sister, mother-in-law, grandmother, and woman of God, Prophetess (Dr.) Mrs. Serah Chinyere Chukwueze (Nee Onyegbule), who peacefully departed this life at the age of 59. Mama Serah was truly a rare gem whose life reflected faith, compassion, wisdom, and service to humanity. She was a devoted Christian and a committed Prophetess who dedicated her life to the work of God and the spiritual growth of many souls. Through her prayers, counsel, encouragement, and motherly care, she became a source of hope and strength to countless people. She carried herself with dignity, humility, and grace. Her presence brought comfort, her words inspired courage, and her heart overflowed with love for family and community. She was not only a loving wife and caring mother but also a dependable pillar whose sacrifices and support shaped the lives of many around her. Mama Serah believed strongly in education, excellence, and service. Her determination and commitment to growth earned her admiration from all who knew her. She lived a life worthy of emulation — peaceful, generous, hardworking, and deeply compassionate. Though her passing leaves behind pain and a great vacuum, her memories will forever remain treasured in the hearts of her family, friends, church members, and all whose lives she touched. Her legacy of faith, kindness, integrity, and love will continue to speak for generations to come.
