With gratitude to God for a life well spent and in total submission to the will of God, the family of Late Lolo Bernadette Ahunna Okafor of Lokpaukwu, Umunneochi LGA, Abia State, sadly announces her passing unto glory at the age of 81 years.
Mama Bernadette was a virtuous woman, a devoted Christian, a loving mother, grandmother, niece, aunt, sister, and in-law whose life was marked by faith, humility, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. She touched countless lives through her kindness, wisdom, generosity, and motherly care.
Throughout her 81 years on earth, she exemplified strength of character and a deep love for God and humanity. Her warm smile, gentle words, and selfless service will remain treasured memories in the hearts of all who knew her. She was a pillar of support to many and a source of inspiration to her children, relatives, friends, and community.
Though we mourn her departure, we are comforted by the assurance that she lived a fulfilled life and has gone to rest in the Lord. Her legacy of love, faith, and integrity will continue to live on through the generations she nurtured and the lives she touched.
As we bid farewell to our beloved mother and matriarch, we thank God for the gift of her life and the blessings she brought to all who knew her. We pray that the Almighty grants her eternal rest and comforts all who mourn her passing.
May her soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
