- Obituary submissions:The deceased’s name, dates, biography, photographs, and location details you submit.
- Tributes: Messages, photos, and stories left by visitors on obituary pages.
- Payment information: Transaction references and payment status processed via Paystack. We do not store card details.
- Communications: Emails or messages you send to our support team.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, referring URLs, and browser type.
- Device data: IP address, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Cookies: Session cookies required for authentication, and optional analytics cookies (see Section 7).

- Create and manage your account and obituary submissions.
- Process payments and send transaction confirmations.

5. Published Obituary Content
Obituary pages, including the deceased’s name, biography, photographs, and tributes, are publicly accessible by design. This is the core purpose of our Service — to share and preserve memories with family, friends, and the wider community.
If you believe any published content is inaccurate, harmful, or should be removed, please contact us at legal@restwell.com.ng and we will review your request promptly.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Obituary pages are retained indefinitely as a permanent memorial record, unless you request removal.
Payment records are retained for seven (7) years in accordance with Nigerian financial regulations. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time, subject to our legal retention obligations.
