‎Dr. Emmanuel Okafor "Emma" Okafor, 66, of Onitsha, Anambra State passed away on the morning of April 29, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his family. ‎ ‎Dr. Emma was born on June 15, 1959 in Onitsha, Anambra State to the late Walter Okafor and Martha Okafor. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters Lois Okafor and Ezinne Omorogbe. ‎ ‎Dr. Emma was a graduate of Igbobi High School in Lagos. After graduation, he attended University of Lagos where he graduated as a medical doctor. ‎ ‎On May 16, 1981 he married Susan Okafor and together they had three daughters and a son. He was a medical doctor and retired after 31 years. He made lifelong friends with his coworkers that affectionately called him Dr. Emma. ‎ ‎His hobbies included fishing, gardening, and photography. He loved Jesus, all things Manchester United. However, his greatest treasures were his Children and his grandchildren. Anyone who knew him, knew he was the best dad ever. ‎ ‎Survivors include his daughters Darrie Ifelodun, Elizabeth Adejare and Laura Sanders Onyia, son Kennedy Okafor. Grandchildren McCanna, Tripp and Prince, Landon and Jack and Elsie. Along with a host of nieces and nephews. ‎ ‎The family would like to request donations in memory of Dr. Emmanuel Okafor. ‎ ‎Funeral arrangements are as stated below 👇 Announcer: Kennedy Okafor for the family.
