OBITUARY NOTICE AND CALL TO PRAYER
*Grief is the price of love, but for those who belong to Christ, sorrow is never without hope.*
With deep sorrow but steadfast hope in Christ, the Board of Trustee and the National Executive Committee of Christian Counselling and Caregivers Alliance of Nigeria (CCCAN) announces the passing of our beloved National Treasurer, *Mrs Melissa Joshua Yakubu*, who was called home to be with the Lord on 15 June 2026 in India following spinal cord surgery.
Mrs Yakubu served faithfully and sacrificially in the work of CCCAN and will be greatly missed by her family, church, friends, colleagues, and the wider Christian community.
We invite friends, partners, and believers everywhere to pray for her husband, children, extended family, church, and the entire CCCAN family during this season of grief and loss.
May the God of all comfort uphold every grieving heart, strengthen those she leaves behind, and grant His peace that surpasses all understanding.
