A TRIBUTE OF HONOUR AND REMEMBRANCE TO ARCHBISHOP DR. PHILIP OMONIGHO OROVWUJE (JP+)
“A faithful servant of God has gone home.”
With gratitude to God for a life of remarkable service, faith, and dedication, we remember with deep sorrow and thanksgiving the passing unto glory of Archbishop Dr. Philip Omonigho Orovwuje (JP+), a beloved son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who departed this world on 13th April, 2026, at the age of 69 years.
Archbishop Dr. Philip Omonigho Orovwuje was a devoted servant of God whose life was marked by commitment to the Gospel, compassion for humanity, and unwavering dedication to the work of the Kingdom. Through his ministry, he touched countless lives, offering spiritual guidance, encouragement, and hope to many.
His legacy of faith, love, humility, and service will continue to inspire generations. Though his earthly journey has ended, the impact of his life and ministry remains a lasting testimony of a man who lived to serve God and humanity.
The families of Late Chief Edward Orovwuje of Eyara Street and Eghwro Ibosu of Ighene Street, both of Okpara Inland, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, respectfully invite friends, family members, the church community, and well-wishers to join them as they bid farewell to their beloved patriarch.
As the family mourns this great loss, they are comforted by the assurance of Scripture: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
— 2 Timothy 4:7
Rest peacefully, Archbishop Dr. Philip Omonigho Orovwuje (JP+). Your labour of love and service to God will never be forgotten.
