In Loving Memory of Late Deaconess Chioma Evelyn Thompson (Egwuonwu)

With hearts filled with gratitude to God for a life of faith, love, and selfless service, the family of Late Elder Onyedinma Mgbiricha Thompson (Egwuonwu) of Umuochi Village, Okalauga Nkwoegwu, Ohuhu, Umuahia North Local Government Area, announces the peaceful transition of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Late Deaconess Chioma Evelyn Thompson (Egwuonwu) who departed this life at the age of 68 years.
Mama Chioma Evelyn Thompson was a devoted Christian whose life reflected humility, compassion, and unwavering commitment to God and humanity. As a faithful member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, she touched many lives through her kindness, generosity, and steadfast faith. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, wise counsel, and the love she freely shared with her family, friends, and community.
Though her earthly journey has come to an end, her legacy of faith, integrity, and service will continue to inspire all who were privileged to know her. She leaves behind cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, relatives, friends, and all whose lives she enriched.
Funeral Arrangements:
Monday, 27th July 2026
5:00 p.m. – Service of Songs at her husband's compound.
Tuesday, 28th July 2026
9:00 a.m. – Body departs the mortuary to her husband's compound.
10:00 a.m. – Lying in State at her husband's house.
10:30 a.m. – Funeral Service by the Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDA), Umuahia District, at Okalauga Nkwoegwu Central School, Umuochi, opposite her husband's compound.
Interment follows immediately after the funeral service.
She is lovingly survived by her children, grandchildren, relatives, friends, and numerous well-wishers who will continue to cherish her memory.
