Obituary Tribute & Funeral Announcement Transition to Glory. With gratitude to God for a life well spent, the entire Ogbodo Onyeabor family of Obinagu Ndiuno Akpugo in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State announces the peaceful transition of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt, and niece, LATE MRS. OGBODO CAROLINE NNEBIEM Ogbunechendo (Nee Ozeh) who departed this life at the age of 75 years. Mama Caroline Nnebiem was a woman of dignity, faith, compassion, and uncommon strength. She devoted her life to the service of God, the nurturing of her family, and the upliftment of all who came in contact with her. Her kindness, wisdom, generosity, and motherly counsel touched countless lives within Akpugo and beyond. She was a pillar of love and unity whose memory will remain forever cherished in our hearts. Though her physical presence will be greatly missed, we take comfort in the legacy of integrity, humility, and godliness she leaves behind. We believe she has gone to rest in the bosom of the Lord whom she faithfully served. She is survived by 7 children, 4 sons and daughters-in-law, 26 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild, alongside many relatives, friends, and loved ones who will continue to cherish her memory. Funeral Arrangements: Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 5:00 PM – Wake Keep at her residence, 49 Igbariam Street, Achara Layout, Enugu. Thursday, August 20th, 2026 5:00 PM – Wake Keep at Nnajinwa Ogbodo’s Compound, Obinagu Ndiuno, Akpugo. Friday, August 21st, 2026 7:00 AM – Body leaves Eastern Nigeria Medical Centre, Enugu for lying in state at Nnajinwa Ogbodo’s Compound, Obinagu Ndiuno, Akpugo. 10:00 AM – Funeral Mass, followed by interment and reception at the same venue.
